The sanitizer mangles the attachment filename and other header
information, but does not alter the attachment itself in any way. This
is intended to break the ability to open the file from within the mail
client by double-clicking on it.
Is the user able to save the file to disk and open the attachment?
It is possible that the obscuration of the x-mac-* header information
is preventing the file from being saved in a usable format on the
Macintosh platform.
