I really wish I could go, but it's smack in the middle of EMT-i school, and I truly cannot afford to miss any of it. Also, I've been unemployed for a good long while now (thus the venture to EMT school) and totally can't afford to go. Have fun without me. :(
Thinking about it. I've been on the road most of the summer, so another weekend squished between work-trips wouldn't be out-of-pattern, just extend the "tired". Will you guys be looking for "new guys" on Friday? I know I can't make Weds eve/Thurs.
I'm likely not getting there 'til late Thursday night or early Friday. To paraphrase Dr. Banzai, whenever folks show up to GBR, that's when they get there!
Friday morning is the first range trip, so you might want to figure out where the range is. It's the Washoe County Regional Shooting Range, the address is 21555 Pyramid Lake Highway Reno, NV 89502.
I thought I won everything last year. Except for any firearms. And I left the Crimson Trace Laser certificate on the table, and someone else got the god-awful giant-humongous Range Bag - so I got a lot of stickers and patches and a magazine pouch... :-)
I still don't know what to bring, but I have a lot of .38 Special ammo and not much anything else. I'd rather win a case of ammo than a Glock. :-)

Maybe the head of an internet gun-up can use a graphics and publications guy...
*sigh* Y'all have fun and take lots of pictures - I will be on my way to Slovenia and Ireland that weekend.
...and if the startup tech needs the assistance of a somewhat inexperienced programmer, I am sure I can find one...
Enjoy. I'd hoped to make it, until that expensive damned trip and the "You need new lens" and the tires...

It's just not in the cards this year.
But next year....
I did win the Para LDA in 2008, but I'm not aware of a second firearm :-P
I thought you won the Hi-Point last year. My bad.
