Hmmm. Napolitano, who would have almost certainly vetoed the bill, was promoted to a national position where she routinely makes an ass of herself but does no substantive harm. Meanwhile, Brewer moves in and actually signs a bill that moves AZ from the gold standard to the platinum. Maybe Napolitano was right after all: the system really did work!
Kevin, remember when Triggerfinger, you and I had dinner in Austin, TX and I said that 16 years ago, I never imagined that gun rights could be where they are now. There is always hope! Let's remember that, savor this moment, and return to the good fight.
I am only a little confused, this means everyone in Arizona can carry concealed inside the state, right? It doesn't mean that all Vermonters vacationing in Arizona get to carry like their state would allow them in Vermont, which would be a real reciprocity - if the other forty-nine did, wouldn't it?
Earl, the wording of the bill, as I understand it, says "person" not "resident" - meaning, so long as you're not legally prohibited from possessing, you may carry concealed, resident or not.

Now, if SCOTUS comes through as it should ...

I haven't checked the roster yet. I wonder who the 5 cowards were who didn't show up to get their name on the record as for or against.

Not voting: Tom Chabin, Christopher Deschene, Lucy Mason, Frank Pratt, Tom Boone
I need to get a copy of the text of the bill and send it to my Reps in Idaho. Hey CongressCritters! See how it's done? DO IT!
Congratulations!

That's fantastic! We need to get that put in here in Florida.
But won't that lead to wild west shootouts in the streets? (j/k)
