Well, congrats anyhow!! Sometimes even heavy manufacturing (besides other major-nerdy stuff) has a design-implementation side - like Google needs machinists. :)
Good to hear Kevin... much like yourself I am awaiting a start date from my new employer. Most likely will be early Feb. so i have a few more weeks off. But then, I have a feeling it will be a bit overwhelming when I first start up as well.
Frankly I blame our respective parents. They hooked us on this notion of eating regularly, wearing nice clothing, sleeping in a warm bed with a roof over our heads, and we've not been able to break the cycle... If we didn;t waste so much money on food, clothing, and shelter, we could have a really good time ... <g>
Congrats. Enjoy the job. Guess this means I'll have to look for work now as I won't be able to spend all day reading blogs if everyone else I know is back working.

Good to hear, Kevin. :) (Even if blogging suffers a bit.) But don't forget us....
Now that you have income I await impatiently the return of free ice cream.
Very cool. Glad to hear you found a new salt mine. May any potential dip in blogging be brief.
