I have used "Han shot first" in a graduate consumer behavior class I took a couple of years ago, and in an undergraduate e-business class I am currently teaching, as an example of how the two-way nature of the Internet and related technologies have allowed consumers to claim ownership of beloved brands, even to the point of contesting the identity of the brand with the seller.
I just can't picture George Lucas as evil. Evil requires malice, and malice requires at least a scrap of intelligence. Therefore, George Lucas is not capable of being evil. Incompetence is firmly in his grasp, however.
To be honest, the only way I can understand how Ep 1-3 are so different from 4-6 is some kind of pod-person scenario.
