M'asphasia has proven that he has no use for actual word-definitions, it's all rhetoric to him, mere tools of verbalization - it's all about intent and emotion rather than any structure of logic.
U-J: Good point. I think he tosses "irrational" at us, because he's had it used against him here so many times he thinks it's something we'll respond to, but he doesn't understand that the power is in the context.
Considering government has killed more people then anything else, by quite a long margin, I think it is very rational, and quite healthy indeed to fear it.
"... you can change an idea but you can't change a belief..."
You can't change anything, liar boy. That would require admitting error, and you can't admit error.

Sarah:
After you said that, I thought about the formation of that sentence, the historical track record of Mark, and I have a hypothesis, to wit:
Mark doesn't know what "rational" means. Which also means "irrational" is mis-defined in his cargo-culted head.

I can state it more simply, DirtCrashr.
To him, it's about The Moment of GOTCHA!
Truth can't hold a candle to the emotion he gets from it and puts into it.
This is why I find his pathology far more interesting than his content.

And I second DirtCrashr and DJ.

Not really an accurate characterization of me but oh well....you can change an idea but you can't change a belief...
And you're the poster-boy for that aphorism, Markadelphia!
