Sure hope you can get delivery on your stuff bro. Especially the M1A. This thing could go hyper in 7 mos. You know, if the half-white furerher hits the ground running and all.
Sorry for getting edgy, bro. getting an M1A. Those things point so good it scary. I went for an lr308. It's a shooter, but the M1A is more comfortable, and easier to shoot offhand. It's on my list.
I wouldn't (can't anyhow) make such an investment with that time-frame, and I have to assume he will include not just the M1A but the M1 Garand (and probably M1 Carbine) in the ban, an intention and disataste for semi-autos that he has already made clear.
You can build a lower on a stripped receiver in two hours. Get just the parts if you have to and still can.
Good choice on the Bullberry. Their stuff comes (mostly) well-recommended. They have excellent customer service (ask me at Boomershoot, I'll tell you a story), but you have to get them on the phone, which can be problematic at times.
Oh, and Kevin, you're going to like the two rifles I picked up Monday. Let's just say your kindness at the GBR inspired me.... I'll have pics up at RNS tonight.
Oh, and as for the .260 Remington, nice choice! and you might be interested in this: http://www.6mmbr.com/BlogMarch2007.html
Rem 260 Match AmmoTACTICAL--260 Rem Match Ammo: The .260 Remington is a popular long-range competition cartridge, particularly in Tactical and Silhouette matches. Check out our story on Terry Cross' Match-Winning 260. But until now, if you wanted to shoot the .260 Rem with high-BC match bullets you needed to hand-load your ammo. Now, for a limited time, Black Hills is offering .260 Rem match ammunition loaded with Lapua Scenar 139gr bullets (.615 BC) in Remington brass. Price is $23 per 20rd box, $225 per 200, plus shipping. And I have a stock of the Lapua Scenar bullets, too. Along with some Sierra 142 grain high-B.C. bullets.

"I currently own one AR15 lower and two uppers."
You and I are in the same boat then Kevin.
I'll probably pick up a 2nd lower after Christmas.

I guess I took the hint also. I received my brand new AR-10 A4 from Knesek Guns three weeks ago.
Have not ordered optics yet, so am just anxious as hell to 'test' it.
By the way, add Knesek Guns to your superb dealers short list!
