Instead of giving the stupid weasels and institutions a huge chunk of bail-out money, how about giving it to US instead, or to the people with the mortgages that need paying-off?
DirtCrashr: I'd just as soon they didn't collect and distribute the $700 bn to those with the mortgages, rather just leaving it in our bank accounts to begin with and not taking a cut themselves.

Well said, Dirt, and I think there should be a plan floated that looks at the people side of the equation.
Money Side == People Side
Money Side == $1,000,000,000,000
People Side == 1,526,718 lives
Socialism works best in volume.
People Side == $1,000,000,000,000 / [$6.55 / hr * 40 hr/wk * 50 wk/yr * 50 yr/(working man's life) = $655,000 / life] = 1,526,718 lives.
PETA has a plan whereby some of the population could work it off.

Hello? Mark?
It's just dollars and people, the lowest common denominators, we can negotiate...
What are your driving at, PETN? If you are being sarcastic, I guess I get it.
PETN:
Hee.
Very nice job.
