The quote would be inspiring except it proceeds from the false presumption that we are a majority rule democratic republic. We are not, and have not been for at least a decade or more. We are ruled by the minorities on any given issue. Until that changes, the America of our youth is gone.
I would venture to say that we don't have much left of the republic..what the left wing courts have not destroyed the voting public has and I don't hold out much hope of this country ever getting back to a constitutional republic..instead we are evolving into a democracy and democracies only last until the public realizes they can get through taxes what they go to jail for otherwise..and then after the revolution that is sure to take place a dictator will emerge and we will be no better off and probably worse than most of the countries on earth today.
The insertion of identity politics under the guise of multicultural relativism has been the ideological wedge that has split the tree of knowledge.
