Question remains, though, will anything happen. This is in a school district where students "went on strike" to go protest border enforcement. Not for it, against it.
"...he director of the TUSD Ethnic Studies Department, who keeps a portrait of Ché Guevara on the wall of his classroom, spoke to MacEachern: "Our teachers are left-leaning. They are progressives. ..."
Guess who ELSE has a portrait of she(it) guano ... er... guevara on his wall?
Hint: He's gonna be Ameristan's first Arab / Muslim PRESIDENT!
DD, you are absolutely *WRONG* with your last comment. The picture was in a volunteers office, in a not-officially-authorized "auxiliary" campaign organization. O'b did the usual slimy politician bit, avoiding condemning it directly but distancing himself from it.
Accusing him of having said picture when it is not true simply makes it easier to dismiss any of your other arguments ("why should I pay attention to that ranter, he's has demonstratedly lied").
NOthing destroys a good argument so much as a demonstrated falsehood. You can be 99% right, and throw in one false "fact" and you've lost.
NOw, as to La Raza... this sort of "progressive" nonsense has been fed to our students for the last 30 years, as the radicalized student body of the 60's has taken over the "edumacation" system. Since the education establishment had gutted the K-12 system years before, for their own selfish reasons - no standards make it hard to be held to one, doesn't it? - sliding this kind of crap in was not a big effort.
It all comes down to local politics. The only way Tucson is going to beat this out of the system is to elect a hard case school board, which causes a comletely different set of problems. I wish Tucson luck. The rest of us in areas with large Hispanic populations have to be on alert for this same sort of idealogical infiltration.
Bud, as I understand it, at least one of the images in question was in BHO's Houston campaign headquarters. There was another at the volunteer's office.
Ché seems to have a wide following among supporters of Barack No Middle Name Obama, but your point is well taken.
With respect to the problem in Tucson, I think it's a case of too little, too late.

Way to jump on the table, throw off his homespun cloak, and whip out his two handled axe!

Silly raza... er... RABBIT.
EVERYBODY knows only white people can be raza... er... RACISTS.
It's time we start calling this crap what it is -- SEDITION -- and hanging the perpetrators.
DD
GRRRRrrrr....
"...kill the gringo...means to end white control over mexicans..."
Honest, officer, "Kill the beaners" means "... End mexican control ..."
" 'Kill' doesn't mean, like, 'KILL...' "
Someone better inform Mr. Webster!
DD
Damn.
I'm sorry -- I really am -- but...
