I recently got to check out the new IWI Tavor. It doesn't get much more movie gun than this! Lightweight, compact, smooth, with really hot built in optics and a laser sight.
How about the portable nuke RPG which can be fired down a twisty tunnel, as used in Starship Troopers? Me likey.

What, no mention of the GE minigun in Predator?
A man-portable belt-fed electric Gatling gun? What's not to like?
The fact that you had to be Jesse Ventura or Aaaahnold to carry it?
I like Hellboy's revolver.

I dunno, I personally think that no movie weapon has ever topped the lightsaber for sheer coolness.
I think it has to do with the sound FX. That just made the weapon like nothing else could.
Now if they had a gun that would emit an ominous hum when it was at rest…
