I think that Fred has been saying the same thing all along.
The problem has been finding ways to trick the MSM into actually covering him.
Fred is an idea candidate. He is presenting his view. None of the Dems are really doing so and the GOP folk are wandering a good bit with the exception of Duncan, Ron, John and Fred.
Duncan is, at this point, really running for his next chance (in 2016?) or for an opportunity to influence that directgion fot he GOP. Ron hasn't a real chance. I am glad for him as I am glad of a bit of sand in an oyster - it causes an oyster to produce a pearl. He will help remind us all of freedom and a degree of nutiness - but I digress. John, if he sticks to his pay a fine rhetoric, is going to get hung on his stand on illegal immigration. Fred has a workable stand there and has stayed firm down the line.
What encourages me more than the rasising much needed money, is the number of new friends. I became one when the numbers were in the 900's. It is now more than ten times that. Boots on the ground are just as important as (over the) air superiority.
I thought about the MSM dilemma after I posted my comment. It is they that are trying to pick the GOP candidate. They choose whom to give the press to and how to present it.
Markadelphia, thanks for the article. I watched Fred last night on The Hunt for Red October....he had dark hair then.

Fred is saying things now that all of them should have been saying all along. I hope he stays this vocal and keeps the press on.
