You'd have far more street cred if you had claimed that you were respecting the "Writers Strike", and showing solidarity with the huddled masses, yannow.
I was on late duty one night when they brought in a badly wounded pilot from one of the raids. He could barely talk. He looked at me and said "The odds were against us up there, but we went in anyway, I'm glad Captain made the right decision." The pilot's name was George Zip.
The last thing he said to me, doc, he said, "Sometime when the crew is up against it, the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to get out there and give it all they got and win just one for the Zipper. I don't know where I'll be then doc, he said, but I won't smell too good, that's for sure."
I'm sure whatever your next posting is will be well worth the wait. Personally, I can't wait to see the mini-opus on the discussion of the Second Amendment, your primer for those just entering the debate. But we'll be here when you're ready.
Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy, and Prosperous New Year. And thanks for all the insightful commentary you've provided over the preceding year. You've given me a lot to think about. BTW, I know the holiday season can be a bear, but we mustn't let it detract from the reason for the season.
Regards,
PolyKahr

You'd have more street cred if you claimed it was because of your solidarity with the "Writers Strike", yannow.

Ok, that's just... odd.
My first comment went to oblivion - reloading the page showed "No Comments".

All this talk about lack of time and failing to post this latest megapost just leaves me feeling disappointed.
I know you'd have done it for Randolph Scott.

Um, you better hurry, Kevin. The logic randomizer has upped its priority, and it'll soon be at "uninterruptible".
Kevin,

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
