First of all, Kevin, I was out of town so I could not respond to your question. Next political post you put up, I will address Anchoress' points one by one.
Second, I am in complete agreement with you regarding Pirates...lose 45 minutes and the movie is much better.
Third, another link for all of you in honor of our veterans.
http://optruth.org/
This is a site specifically for Afghan and Iraqi war vets. One of my best friends served in Special Forces in both countries and this group really helped him out with his PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Also, good call on the USO, Kevin. They really bring up the spirits of all of our troops and make them feel normal....as normal as they can feel given the situation.
First of all, Mark, I don't believe I questioned your lack of response to my query, though there is no need to wait until my next "political post." Responding in the post in question is quite acceptable - preferred, appropriate even.
Second, my recommendation was to cut 45 minutes out of Dead Man's Chest. I thought At World's End was fine at the length it ran - or are we arguing where we shouldn't be? Your comment is a bit cryptic.
Third, I'll post your recommended charity as well.
Hey Kevin, good. I didn't want to talk out of place if the topic was something else...here's what I think..

Very nicely done. Thank you. I can tell you when I was "over there" many years ago, mail was a really big part of each day.
One more is Packages From Home... http://www.packagesfromhome.org/donate/
This is a local (Phoenix area) group that has mailed packages to GI's stationed away from home for a couple years anyway. Very active group.
