Oh...crap! I've got ulcerative colitis. When you hit the toilet (if you're lucky enough to make it) 20 - 30 times in 24 hours, you stop checking the "output". Of course, at that point you find yourself in the hospital. Now if it's less than 10 times day, I'm doing pretty good. And there is some strange...stuff sitting in the bowl. Good luck!
I've got th same condition... Same symptomatic problems.
I'v got to say that a little Immodium (and some symethicone when it's REALLY bad), and a lot of no emphasis on the problem (i.e. focusing on it, and especially writing about it) tend to make the situation less problematic, and more manageable.
I've alwayls felt that it was more like armor piercing rounds tied to roman candles than anything.
I hope you are better for the Christmas holiday (even though you aren't religious) so you can enjoy the joy of giving rather than having to beg off because of the "condition"...

I paid a lot of dough to have a pressure assist toilet put in - never gets clogged, and everything goes away in one flush - every time!
