The "splat" is known as a "frap" in the skydiving community.
No fraps here, but I do have 3 reserve rides.

Cute, but they need to lose the accompaniment of the tuba. Tubas and Kiwis don't co-exist.
Maybe a recorder, so an oboe, something reedy.
...and yes, I know that a recorder doesn't have a reed, but an oboe does.
