IMHO, Beslan was the worst of all of the terrorist incidents over the past few years - because of the purposeful targeting of children. Seeing that poor father cradling his (apparently dead) child rekindled the utter horror I felt at the time.
All I have to say is that if anyone touches a hair on my kids' heads, let alone does something like this, then the Gates of Hell will open up. Monsters, evil, heartless, soulless monsters...they deserve nothing but death, preferably delivered in a slow and painful way. Maybe, just maybe, that will deter others from repeating horrors like Beslan.
I've often thought over the past five years that it's fortunate for the world that I didn't have a loved one taken on 9/11 for I'm a reasonably intelligent fellow who has read Frank Herbert's "The White Plague"

I'd suggest using something stronger than a roll over, and leave even less than a smear, if at all possible.
