Very interesting piece. As for the "gynocracy of wackademia" Bob has a strong point. The university campus is the only environment in which I have observed grown men refer to themselves as feminists. Bleccchhh.
He really nails it with this statement,
[A] girl who feels loved by a strong, virtuous and noble father has almost zero chance of becoming a leftist. Nor will she have any interest in marrying a fe-man such as Jimmy Carter or John Kerry.
This is certainly true in my case. Interestingly, women who did not grow up with the love of a strong &etc father seem driven to repeat this experience for their own children rather than rectifying it. And without government throwing a monkey wrench into things, raising children without a strong and virtuous father would naturally be the least appealing option for a woman.
I disagree with his assertion that the Democrats are driven by emotion and the Republicans are driven by thought.
One of my big problems with the Republican party lately is the extent to which it has become primarily emotion driven as well (albeit what Godwin would no doubt call the more 'manly' emotions).
Thank you, Kevin, for introducing me to a new and brilliant thinker.
