I've got a Marlin 1894 in 44 Mag. Putting a Williams peep on it made a big difference in rounds on target at distance. Using a large aperture opening doesn't cut the light much, but still allows accurate eye placement. As long as you can get the front sight in some sort of focus you'll do just fine with it.
Don't know if the Win 94 allows easy installation of a receiver sight or not - the Marlin was already drilled for it - but if you can put one on, it may make a nice difference in your accuracy
I finally got my wife to the range with me, Its been a long time coming, and she loved it.
