Don't trust it one bit. IP addresses can easily be switched, email addresses rerouted, ect. It's a joke.
There are online personalities, and there are real people. They are no where near the same. Yeah, there are real people out there that don't actual lie, but they are acting different then they do in the "real" world.
With some, it is likely more truthful then their actions in the real world, (they get to yell out how we really feel on an issue).
The sad thing about this case, is that even someone like myself who knew him in real life (high school buddies) believed his stories and were duped. A number of us forum members (SigForum) had even gone shooting with him a few weeks before this took place.
