I can't see that it's going to get any smaller. Things that need to be
added:

. proper handling of the various filename encoding methods

. proper handling of base64 encoded RFC822 attachments

. TNEF snooping

and that's just the critical stuff.

There's been a request for a basic mangle-these-extensions version. No
notification, HTML cleanup, macro scanning, poisoning, etc. Is there
general interest?
