I'm getting a mental image of Paul Helmke sitting on a street corner with a sign reading, "will fight gun violence for food."

Now that we're winning, our biggest enemy is complacency.  When you're beating the enemy, you don't let them melt into the forest and regroup.  You pursue and annihilate.

Aaron, I like the way you think, man!

Seriously, $20?  That won't even pay for the webpage!  ROTFL.

Hee.  I remember that video, and while it took some snarky shots at open-carry activists I never expected the Brady Bunch to pick it up.  It really didn't make shooters look terribly scary.  If that's the best they've got...

Seriously?  $20?  Sad.

And I'll bet those $20 was a "seed" donation, like sticking a dollar in the bowl by the register...

Too bad they're a non-profit. They already suck at what they do and provide a service that apprently nobody wants. All that's left is to find a way to accrue massive debt and they could qualify for a government bailout.

A prime example of the point is here in Ohio.  Ohioians For Concealed Carry has a very active membership forum on line, has regular get toghethers around the state, and can turn out respectable crowds at state legislature hearings.

As far as any one can determine, The Ohio Coalition Against Gun Violence has only one member, a lady named Toby Hoover, who's primary activity is parroting Brady Bunch talking points to the MSM so they can show a "balanced" presentation in stories about firearms.  No one I know has ever met, spoken with, or even heard of anyone else claiming to be a member of her "organization".

Randy,

There were some folks from OFCC at the DC 2A March.  Didn't talk to any of them (didn't avoid em, just didn't get a chance), but definitely noticed they were there.

BTW, I tried to find that web page on the Brady Bunch website without telling them any personal info, and couldn't find it.

Anybody seen how much they're up to lately?

I totally need to read that book.

He published an article called "Vikings and Rappers: The Icelandic Sagas Hip-Hop across 8 Mile".  He's my new hero!
