>>Is it "charming"or "quaint"....

No, you deluded Cult member.

It's racist.

Racist, racist, racist.

Because that's all you Cult members are capable of.

Burros? Damn, all the good prostitutes must be in the US now.

"Is it "charming"or "quaint" to hear braying burros outside your hotel room in the evening?"

No different than watching Congress on C-SPAN.

I was gonna say...sure you didn't get diverted to Mordor on the Potomac?

Depends - what floor are you on?

jsid-1274282402-132  Arthur Lueck at Wed, 19 May 2010 15:20:02 +0000

It's charming.

Quaint is when you hear burros braying inside your hotel room.

jsid-1274284102-431  Primevalpapa at Wed, 19 May 2010 15:48:22 +0000

What, no roosters in the AM? You are being cheated of the full venue. Well, at least you have the love calls of the burros to lull you to sleep.

jsid-1274284989-541  khbaker at Wed, 19 May 2010 16:03:09 +0000

I'm up BEFORE the roosters!

jsid-1274293738-943  Aaron at Wed, 19 May 2010 18:28:59 +0000

Do you hear the sound of Coyotes heading straight for the border?

jsid-1274296534-905  SlashTwo at Wed, 19 May 2010 19:15:37 +0000

Only if those burros are Green Chile...maybe with enchilada sauce..

"Is it "charming"or "quaint" to hear braying burros outside your hotel room in the evening?"

It is neither. I can hear them from my house on occasion, so I think it is "normal". Your mileage may vary.

jsid-1274299894-83  GrumpyOldFart at Wed, 19 May 2010 20:11:35 +0000

It only qualifies as "charming" or "quaint" if you can get a bunch of them together and get em to do "Blue Moon".

When we were in Guatemala we tried to get them to do The Ballad of Gilligan's Island...

CHarming or quaint?  Neither.  It's damned annoying.

Welcome to rural.  Enjoy your stay.

(Where does it fall to hear coyote packs in the evening from the street in front of you and explosives testing midday?)

I would say that falls right smack-dab in the middle of AWESOME!!!

jsid-1274330837-231  Mark Horning at Thu, 20 May 2010 04:47:17 +0000

Well since I can here Burros braying from my place in queen creek (and geese, and goats, and peacocks, and...)  I'm going to go with "nice to be out of the damn city".

jsid-1274462976-867  Stephen R at Fri, 21 May 2010 17:29:36 +0000

Neither.  It's "rustic".

jsid-1274469418-421  ericfield at Fri, 21 May 2010 19:16:58 +0000

Kevin, email me at erickelly1@verizon.net - I can't find your email (computer took a nosedive and I lost it) but I'm starting another Kalashnikitty shirt run and wanted to let your readers know about it - going to use the proceeds to help fund my wife's surprise 20th wedding anniversary gift of a hunting safari to Africa - I don't think I'll tell her until after she wakes up from a drug-induced sleep when we land (she hates to fly - LOL).

jsid-1274541262-600  GrumpyOldFart at Sat, 22 May 2010 15:14:22 +0000

Don't think of it as a burro. Imagine someone is chainsawing an accordion, it sounds about the same and it'll make you feel better.
