What Diggs said. Thank God I have W's signature on my retirement certificate. Those tilties are being smug, nothing else. We cannot trust the left, period.

One of those "let's get along" sings makes me want to punch the asshole holding it. To whit:

"Dear 48,

I _PROMISE_:
to listen to you
to fight for you
to respect you _always_.
Love, 52"

Y'all can go straight to hell. I'm sure you were listening and respecting and fighting for the other side for the past year or so, right? Right???

You need to add a line to your sign:

"...so long as my side's in power."

What a bunch of frikkin' hypocrites.

Just saw an interesting link to a wash post story. Seems Hussein and his advisors have been working for months on a list of Bush directives to be cancelled as soon as he assumes office.

Indeed. One of them is to lockdown domestic drilling again.

Gosh, it sure was nice to pay below 2.50 for gas. Those days are over.

They called Bush a failure so many times, it became true in the eyes of the American people.

I saw we start calling Obama a failure, at least when we do it, it will be true.

jsid-1226317656-598956  Bilgeman at Mon, 10 Nov 2008 11:47:36 +0000

A couple of things we should realize before President-elect Obama takes office.

His is going to be the best administration in American history...

No matter WHAT he does or whathe FAILS to do.

We saw how a President who is the media's darling gets the kid glove treatment during the Clinton Administration.

Clinton was excused for all sorts of behavior that would have gotten a President held in less esteem by the media absolutely crucified.

Can you imagine what Obama is going to be able to get away with, since not only is the MSM his "lapdog", but any criticism of his administration can and will be characterized as racist-inspired?

What bothers me most is the self-censorship that the MSM will practice,(indeed, has already practiced), regarding Obama on the basis of not wanting to "sully his racial legacy".

What items will never see the light of day for the fears of reporters and editors and publishers deciding that publishing anything damaging to Obama will mean that "no-one will ever vote for a black man again"?

Oh, and Kevin,

I noticed that your "F^CK It. McCain '08" ad has disappeared from your sidebar.

It might be instructive, however, to leave it up.

As I opined, it perfectly captures the feeling of the GOP base towards the Senator's candidacy, and might make a nice reminder for Republican strategists the next time around...

No comment from Markadelphia yet? Huh.

Yes, the left has worked overtime for the last eight years to undermine the President and America in a time of war, and yes, payback's a bitch. So it's very tempting to say: the shoe's on the other foot now, look out mother------s!

But at the end of the day, it's an empty threat. It is the very nature of Republicans/conservatives that we are TRUE patriots, and unlike the Left, would never undermine our country's interests out of spite.

That said, the Obamafraud should not expect much in the way of cooperation, and he and his libtard cronies should expect that we will fight tooth and nail any and all attempts to force his collectivist agenda on the public.

With control of 1600 Penn, and both Houses, the Left will NOT show restraint; their actions over the last eight years show that restraint is not a quality that they even remotely possess. They will go on the offensive hard and early and we need to use every defensive and stalling tactic we have.

America is a Constitutional Republic, where the majority cannot (legally) take away the rights of the minority, we shall use every weapon at our disposal to ensure that it remains so.

Obama has famously stated that he's going to slow development of future weapon systems, etc. Video here-
http://crypticsubterranean.blogspot.com/2008/11/obama-on-security.html

I see from his new Change.gov website that he has a new focus of military development-

"He will bolster our military's ability to speak different languages, navigate different cultures, and coordinate complex missions with our civilian agencies."

I think that says everything about how an Obama Presidency is going to utilise the military.

Where are you getting this stuff? The "Agenda" tab on the change site contains only this:

"President-Elect Obama and Vice President-Elect Biden have developed innovative approaches to challenge the status quo in Washington and to bring about the kind of change America needs.

The Obama Administration has a comprehensive and detailed agenda to carry out its policies. The principal priorities of the Obama Administration include: a plan to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives."

Oz:

A quick perusal around the 'net will find you many screenshots of what it did say.

Now it's being "revamped". One of those powers of the "Office of the President-Elect", I guess.

Sounds like the Human Terrain program is going to be expanded. Funny because the Left hasn't been all that keen on it.

He has crawled out from whatever it is he hides under to comment a couple times since last Tuesday. Or maybe undulates would be more descriptive. I didn't think he could resist commenting on this post though. Especially after he couldn't help but spewing some of the latest additional slime that he eagerly lapped up on Sarah Palin.

Re: the original post---

Can't we just get along? Not fast there sparky.

Obama Derangement Syndrome will get us nowhere, but I'll be d@#%*d if I'm going to sit and say or do nothing while the "tolerant ones" try to jam this stuff down our throats. There will be plenty of material for us to use. Just put away the tinfoil hat stuff.

Obama Derangement Syndrome will get us nowhere

Precisely. It seems we have lost the notion of the loyal opposition, which is neither a matter of meekly acquiescing or behaving like an agitated troop of howler monkeys.

How about a judged by 12 rather than carried by 6 site?
