Well...

now we know the likely real reason for his resignation.

You shouldn't hate them, but rather, you should pity them for being unable to even muster up a actual honest human compassion for a man who left three children and a wife behind. They cannot differentiate between a man and his message, or perhaps they are unwilling, because to admit that a man isn't only comprised of a message is to admit that those they disagree with are also human.

It is, after all, easier to hate the messenger for the message he is carrying, than to show compassion for the person carrying the message.

Besides, all that fury at a dead man makes them PROFOUND AUTHENTIC POLITICAL WARRIORS! (!!11eleventy!!, etc, etc.)

R.I.P., Tony Snow. You will be missed.

Uhm, as someone who is generally a liberal, and as a reader of a multitude of the widest-read liberal blogs, I have yet to see a single "gloating" blog post—in fact, every post I've seen has remarked sympathy for his family and noted his passing with regret. What the hell lefty blogs are you reading? I'm glad I don't read them.
