No, this is to trap files named with GUID extensions, which are a way
to bypass the ".doc == Word Document" interpretation. For example, if
you send "fnord.txt.{GUID_FOR_MS_EXECUTABLE}" then Windows will
execute it per the program specified by the GUID.

No, that won't do it. There is no change to MANGLE_EXTENSIONS that you
can make that will affect double-extension processing. That is purely
the province of the poison and strip lists.

I added the (?...) support so that we could poison double-extension
filenames while permitting documents with annoying names like
SALES.JAN.2002.CLO.BLE.DUH.FEH.DOC to pass.
