I've been bothered by the same thing for a while.
I'm considering changing the default poisoned list to something like:
*.[a-z][a-z][a-z0-9].(com|exe|bat|pif|dll|etc...)
so that multiple-extension documents don't automatically get poisoned.
Any comments?
