John, how about putting the de-mimer in a separate file which
is called by the main html-trap.procmail. The call could be based
on the existance of the de-mimer. Sites that need the macro
scanner would need both files, those that don't, only the
html-trap.procmail. This would also dramatically reduce the size
of the command line needed for the perl -e. I know that this
runs against your wish to keep the filter self contained, but it
would allow plenty of room for future feature bloat. ;-)
