Hello!
I'm trying to install the sanitizer on a Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 system.
I've got version 1.119 of the sanitizer.
[root at mail mail]# procmail -v
procmail v3.15 2000/08/25
Copyright (c) 1990-1999, Stephen R. van den Berg <srb at cuci.nl>

Locking strategies: dotlocking, fcntl(), lockf()
Default rcfile: $HOME/.procmailrc
Your system mailbox: /var/spool/mail/root
[root at mail mail]# perl -v
This is perl, version 5.004_04 built for i386-linux

When I try and run the sanitizer I get some interesting messages, and mail
never gets delivered. Not bounced, not delivered. Procmail works just
fine by itself. I'm also thinking that maybe Perl needs to be upgraded.
I've attached the VERBOSE logfile for anyone who wants to comment on what's
wrong. What jumps out at me are :
procmail: Skipped
"..........................................................................

procmail: Skipped "{"
procmail: Assigning "LOG=Trapped excessively long header in "Test #4 ...."
from "Michael H. Martel" <martelm at quark.vsc.edu> to martelm

procmail: Assigning

It looks like a two fold problem. First, possibly a Perl/Procmail issue,
and the second is a sendmail issue ? Sendmail is configured to use
something called /usr/sbin/sensible-mda for mail delivery. On all my other
boxes, I use procmail as the LDA. I hesitate to change it, since Debian
isn't my specialty.
Comments ?
Thanks!
Michael
