No, apparently I'm not stripping MS-TNEF
I'll do that, and see if the problem goes away.

btw: saving the message to a file gives an htm file,
and opening that in a browser shows only the headers,
no message.

I use the sanitizer where I work, and most everybody uses Outlook
without this problem. What happens when they save the message to a
file?
Are you stripping MS-TNEF on internal mails?
